1st Christmas DIY gift

Christmas time is almost here! Advent begins THIS SUNDAY!  

I am going through and trying to organize what all I want to do before Christmas..(it is a rather big list) 

I am wanting to try and do as many DIY projects as possible for gifts this year.

(On a tight budget with buying a house and baby due at the end of February)

This is a genuine leather jacket I found at a thrift store + on sale several months back. Everything but the sleeves fit Anthony perfectly (they were too short). So, I bought it anyway and planned to turn it into a vest for him. (Something he has been wanting, so it is perfect!)

I just got the sleeves off. Took maybe 10 minutes :D

Now all I have to do is follow the same seam line  on my machine to connect the lining to the leather again.

Simple and easy refashion=awesomeness
